Summary:
Travel diary describing an extensive trip that Claxton took with his wife: approximately one month each spent in India and in Egypt with the remaining time spent along the coasts of Greece and Turkey. Claxton records all that he sees along with keen observations on the different peoples, cultures, and religions with which he comes in contact.
