Summary:
Pair of manuscript diaries, 1864-1868, of George Glenn Wood of Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Wood was a teenager who worked on his parents' farm and attended classes at the West Branch High School, a boarding school on the west bank of the Susquehanna River in the same county. His diary entries are full of school, farm, social activities, and school compositions. There are many references to events in the American Civil War.
