- Summary:
- Pat Falvey's story is one of courage and triumph, of turning adversity to advantage. He was a self-made millionaire by the age of 28; two years later he was almost broke. He faced his tough times head on and turned to the great outdoors to find new challenges and personal fulfillment. He quickly found new success, and became the first Irishman to climb all the great mountains of the world, including Everest, Kilimanjaro, McKinley, Mount Vinson in Antarctica, and Mount Aconcagua in South America. He also spent an extensive amount of time exploring the jungles of Irian Jaya in New Guinea, much of it with the man-eating Dani tribe, currently in danger of extinction from occupying Indonesian forces.
