Summary:
George Sinclair has hastily reassembled the Floria Tosca Grand Opera Company and is busily preparing them to present La Traviata in London's Mansion House, in the presence of the Lord Mayor of London. The rest of London, however, is rocked by the news that the international assassin Solomon has succeeded in killing a prominent financier, thwarting the tight security that surrounded the victim. Now the Lord Mayor has received a death threat - which could well be a disruption, to say the least, to the performance of La Traviata. As Solomon continues to elude the combined forces of Interpol and London's Special Branch, can George hope to do any better?
