The offense consisted of plans to print and sell, "sans aucune permission, l'impression d'un manuscrit, contenant des maxims impies & séditieuses"--p. 1-2. Title of text not given, but see BN Dép. des manuscrits, Collection Anisson, 22180.64 which appears to be another edition of this or a related arrêt printed at the Imprimerie royale, dated June 13, 1777. This identifies the work as Raynal's Histoire philosophique et politique ...
