Notes:

Suppressed volume included a papal letter to the deposed king of Poland, Stanislaus Leszczynski, then Duke of Lorraine and Bar; the letter is dated August 24, 1763. The second letter, addressed to Beaumont, Archbishop of Paris, is dated February 15, 1764. Both letters dealt with the dissolution of the Society of Jesus. The Arrêt reasserts a general ban on the circulation of papal communications in France without previous assent of the king and registration in the parlements.
