Summary:

The introductory section includes state-of-the-art research on secondary nucleation, the mechanism for crystallization of proteins, kinetics of impurity effect on growth, and crystal morphology prediction. Other topics include the use of high-pressure crystallization in industrial processes, precipitation cases for organic and inorganic compounds, precipitation processes by antisolvents, fast reaction precipitation, and isoelectric precipitation.
