- Two of three manuscript stories written in a late seventeenth century hand, and bound in a volume now at Baylor university. The first relating to Mascambruni, was written by the Abbate Giovanni Battista Rinalducci, the second, an anonymous manuscript, is an imaginary conversation between Marquis Francesco Azzolini and Gio Lodovico Francia. The third, translated by E. H. Yarrill under title, Deplorable and impious homicide committed by Guido Franceschini against Pietro Comparini, Violante Comparini and Pompilia their accredited daughter, was published as series 11 of Baylor university's Browning interests, 1939.
