- An article from 1881 detailing the creative work and contributions of the Cincinnati Pottery Club. The Cincinnati Pottery club was a group of Cincinnati women who became well known for their work designing and creating American decorative art pottery. The existence of the club eventually resulted in the formation of the Rookwood Pottery Company. Includes the work of Maria Longworth Nichols (later known as Maria Longworth Storer), Clara C. Newton, and M. Louise McLaughlin, among others.
