Endeavouring thereby to raise a belief in His Majesties subjects, that the late Earl of Essex did not murther himself in the Tower, contrary to what was found by the coroners inquest. Before the Right Honourable Sir George Jeffreys, knight and baronet, lord chief justice of His Majesties Court of Kings-bench, and the rest of the reverend judges of that court, holden at Westminster, on Friday the 7th. of February, 1683.
