The first exhibition ever compiled in New Mexico on the visual images completed by the US-Mexico Boundary Survey commissioner, John Barlett, and artist Henry Cheever Pratt and Seth Eastman. Most of these drawings and watercolors in this exhibition date from 1850-1853 and were rendered on site in the course of the official survey.
