Plan found inserted only in a few copies. (cf. Brinley, Catalogue, v. 1, no. 209) A photographic reproduction of the plan, "S. Blodget del. Thos. Johnston sculp.," is in Mass. hist. soc. Proceedings, 2d series, 1889-90, v. 5, opposite p. 416, with a notice of Blodget and his "Prospective-plan", by Dr. Samuel A. Green. The pamphlet was reprinted, London, T. Jefferys, 1756, [2], 5 p. and an engraving of the plan, "Samuel Blodget delin. T. Jefferys sculp." was published February 2, 1756. A copy of this engraving (dated February 2, 1756) is in Jefferys' General topography of North America, London, 1768. In Johnston's original plate the course of the Hudson is mapped out in the upper portion, running transversely across the plate; in Jefferys' rather free copy it runs down the left hand side of the plan. A lithograph of Jefferys' engraving is given in the Documentary history of the state of New York, 1849-51, v. 4, opposite p. [168], and engravings which omit
