Five hundred fifty copies of this book have been designed and printed at the press of W. Thomas Taylor in Austin, Texas. The type is Monotype Californian, with Deepdene italic for display. The photographs were printed as duotones by David Holman at The Wind River Press in Austin. The initial letters were made by Penny Moran and the folding map by Barbara Whitehead in Austin, and the hand-marbled papers by Peggy Skycraft in Estacada, Oregon. The edition was bound by Craig Jensen at BookLab in Austin.
