To honour his 65th birthday, colleages and pupils have chosen 5 themes on coptology. first is concerned with coptic art, archaeology and inscriptions. The second chapter shows some aspects of theology and church history. The third theme is concerned with the history of religions. The book also includes 6 articles on various linguistic aspects of coptic. A last chapter deals with some coptic manuscripts and editions in the field of theology and history of religions.
