- A database of average weekly and monthly sea-surface temperatures for the nine regions of the world ocean. The averages were calculated from the NOAA Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer Multichannel Sea Surface Temperature data (AVHRR MCSST) collected from October 1981 through December 1990. Also included on the disk are ETOPO5 global gridded elevation and bathymetry data.
