An appeal by the vicars-general of the Diocese of Vannes to the Parlement to not be forced to hold services for a deceased Jansenist cleric (le Picart) of the town of Carnac, together with an arrêt of the Parlement insisting that the clergy do so, on pain of stringent financial penalties.

The letter is signed: De Pontual G. Vicaire, De la Villegonan, Mauduit Duplessis, De la Motte-Picquet and dated 2 April, 1754; the arrêt is dated 4 April, 1754.
