- RBC copy was formerly owned by Daniel Schwartzman (1908-1977) and presented to the Penn Libraries by his wife, Dorothy Schwartzman (née Kemler; 1913-1999), in 1979.
- RBC copy has laid in typescript letter ([2] leaves) dated 16 April 1979 on letterhead of the University of Pennsylvania from Raymond C. Saalbach to Neda Westlake regarding the provenance of this volume (with ms. note in pencil on first leaf: "Ok - acknowledged + appraised by Alan Morison [sic]").
- RBC copy has sheet (38 x 46 cm.) with early engraving of a document being read aloud to a Habsburg monarch and his court (the figures numbered, but without a key), torn and mended on verso at all edges, laid in; portion of an 18th-century leaf with woodcut illustration and caption (Genesis 28:20-21) printed by Gottfried Hoffmann of Waldenburg, with early ms. notes on verso; scrap of red silk fabric laid in.
- RBC copy bound in full leather over beveled edge wooden boards; 2 metal fore-edge catchplates and evidence of 2 leather (and metal?) fore-edge clasps; 5 raised bands on spine.
- RBC copy: a few leaves at beginning of volume dampstained; leaf *b1 mended at tail margin; leaf *h2 mended at fore-edge; portion of fore-edge margin of leaf *h4 excised; leaf *h4 mended at tail margin; leaf *h5 torn and partially mended at tail outer corner.
