Culture Class Collection copy 2 has two letters to Robert E. Spiller, 1896-1988, laid in which suggests he may have been the former owner. One letter, dated 4.11.'28, is from J. Russell Hayes thanking Mr. Spiller for presenting a letter of Thomas Chalkley to the Friends Historical Library, Swarthmore College. The other letter, dated 27 July 1971, is from Mrs. H. S. Swallow and includes a diagram of the descendants of Thomas Chalkley.
