"Designed and printed by Dwight Agner at The Press of the Nightowl ... The text was set by hand in Joanna Roman, a type designed by Eric Gill. Palatino Semibold, designed by Hermann Zapf, was used for the story titles, with ornaments from the Primula series designed by Imre Reiner. The illustrations were cut in linoleum by Margaret Agner and printed directly from the blocks ... The regular edition consists of approximately 275 copies printed on eighty pound Ragston paper. They have been bound in Holliston Kingston natural finish cloth by Robert Burlen & Son, Inc. ... An additional 30 copies were printed on damp Hayle handmade paper, with story dividers on Ingres Antique. These were bound by hand with leather edges and spine label, by Fritz and Trudi Eberhardt ... The copies of this special edition are numbered from 1 to 30, and signed by the author"--Colophon.
