- The Museum of Non-Objective Painting was a project of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, and the precursor of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Carl Zigrosser served as an advisor, giving his advice on staff structure; the Frank Lloyd Wright building design; problems with Hilla Rebay; candidates for the Directorship and other staff positions; education programs; the Museum's large collection of paintings by Wassily Kandinsky; and the first purchases for the Museum's library.
