- A weekly miscellany, edited by poet Rufus Dawes, which began in 1828 and was merged the following year with the new Baltimore Minerva. It contained material selected from American and European periodicals--moral, humorous, and scientific essays, poetry and tales, biographical sketches, anecdotes, news, fashion, music, and critical reviews.
