A reissue of the 1777 ed. with the title leaf and half-title reset, and with the addition of an introduction, purportedly by Sancho Pança (p. [v]-xxx), and of the "Conversation après souper, entre Mistriss Rachel, Sir Thomas, Le Bon-homme Richard et Sancho-Pança" (p. [1]-6, second count). Some copies retain the first three leaves (including title leaf) of the 1777 ed., although they are cancelled in most. Also cf. William Reese Co. Catalogue 255, no. 26.
Probably published in Paris and London. Cf. Grand-Carteret, J. Almanachs français, no. 595. Barbier and Quérard record a 1778 ed. with imprint: Philadelphia et Paris, Esprit, 1778.
