- Biography/History:
- M. Josephine Duebler received her bachelor degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1938. She was the first woman to earn graduate degrees in veterinary medicine from the University (M.S. in 1941 and Ph. D. in 1944). She was appointed as secretary of the Alumni Society and historian of the Vet Alumni Society in 1949. She was nationally known as Dog Show Judge.
