- Biography/History:
- Frederick R. Drayton graduated with a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Pennsylvaia in 1917. He was a member of the varsity rowing team. He worked with the Stokes Packard & Smith, Inc., from 1923 to 1948, retiring as the vice president of the insurance company.

- The interviewee recalled his experience as a civil engineering student at the University of Pennsylvania, highlighting the faculty in his day, fraternity activities, and the varsity rowing crew. He then reviewed his experience during World War I, his work after graduation and his service with a local insurance company.
