Biography/History:
Robert Joseph Callaghan graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania in 1930 and from the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1933. He was a partner of the law firm of Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis. He was member of the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter Commission, 1949-1951.

Callaghan recalled his experience as a student at the University of Pennsylvania. His recollections covered such details as student activities on campus, faculty, women status, baseball games, traffic around the campus, buildings of the University, and Prohibition.
