- Biography/History:
- Mildred Ann Brill attended the University of Pennsylvania in 1938. She was employed by the University in 1941 and worked on campus until 1987 when she retired. She started as a transcript clerk at the school of education and then served at the registration office for some 15 years before coming to work at the Wharton school. At Wharton, she served as an assistant in charge of financial matters for a foundation program for 32 years.

- Mildred A. Brill recalled her forty-six-year experience at the University of Pennsylvania, beginning with the job as a transcript clerk and including thirty-two years at Wharton School where she served in relation to a foundation. She reviewed the changes in office technology as well as changes in student attitudes at Wharton. Among other matters she discussed in her interview are women's clothes in earlier days, jobs open to women then, her sisters' study programs at the University, social life on campus, and changes in the composition of secretary staff.
