Biography/History:

Cornelius N. Weygandt graduated from the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering in 1928 and received his Master degree from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology in 1933 and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1947. He joined the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania in 1935.

Summary:

Weygandt reviewed the history of the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania, the school's relations with the entire University, the faculty of both Moore and Towne Schools of the University, the teamwork as he knew of the ENIAC project, and the status of women in engineering programs.
