- Biography/History:
- Anthony Francis Clark Wallace graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in history in 1947, an M.A. in anthropology in 1949 and a Ph.D. in anthropology in 1950. He has been a professor of anthropology at Penn since 1961, and served as Chairman of the Department of Anthropology from 1961 to 1971. He is a member of the American Anthropological Association and a member of the American Sociological Society.
