Local Notes:
This set of scores and parts was created by the library of the Philadelphia Orchestra during the tenure of conductor Eugene Ormandy. It consists of: 1 photocopy of excerpts from a copyist's manuscript of the full score (complete with voice parts and German text); 1 negative photostatic copy of the same score; 122 ozalid copies of ms. parts and 16 ink ms. parts.
The parts are broken into two halves, with each half covering two of the selections. Most of the violin parts have been stitched together with a copy of Tick-tack Polka inserted between the 2nd and 3rd selections.
Also includes: 35 vellum masters of the above parts: 18 for the first half and 17 for the second half.

Also includes: 2 scores and 40 parts (Luck's Music Library) to Tick-Tack Polka, op. 365, based on themes from Die Fledermaus; 27 parts to Die Fledermaus Overture: 18 C. Fischer parts (pl. no.: 29057-103; publisher's no. AE-24; series: Carl Fischer American Orchestra Edition); 9 A. Cranz parts (pl. no.: F.S.23,502); 2 ms. percussion parts labeled "Fledermaus Czardas".
Parts marked for performance by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra; some parts contain manuscript inserts.
Also includes: 8 leaves of pencil notes concerning changes to the score; one pencil note (1 leaf) by Jesse Taynton (orchestra librarian) concerning the violin parts, attached to a postcard used as a loan record by the orchestra.
Score marked by Eugene Ormandy for performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra; markings include doublings, cuts, and instrumentation of the vocal portions.
