This set of scores and parts was created by the library of the Philadelphia Orchestra during the tenure of conductor Eugene Ormandy. It consists of: 1 Breitkopf & Härtel score (pl. no.: F.S. 2; series: Schubert's Werke, Serie 1, No. 2); 1 Breitkopf & Härtel score (pl. no.: Part.B. 148; series: Breitkopf & Härtels Partitur-Bibliothek); 58 Breitkopf & Härtel parts (pl. no.: Orch.B. 121/122); 2 ink ms. parts for horns 3 & 4.

Both scores marked by Eugene Ormandy for performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra; markings in the score with pl. no. F.S. 2 include bowings, doublings, and possible cuts. Markings in the other score include bowings, doublings, alterations, durations, the addition of parts for 3rd and 4th horns, and metronome markings, one of which is labeled "Toscanini".
