- Persian with source-text in Arabic; some glosses and notes in Chinese.
- Summary:
- Copy of a translation and commentary of 40 ḥadīth, interspersed with verses by various writers. This copy is extremely fragile. The binding has completely fallen apart, except for one small section. Most of the leaves have been placed individually in mylar sleeves. The cover boards are also in mylar sleeves, and the spine is missing.

- Title from introduction (f. 1v).
- Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper right verso.
- Layout: 15 long lines; frame-ruled.
- Script: Written in Chinese style naskh in black ink; pointed, Arabic vocalized.
- Decoration: Rubrications in red; headers and source-text in larger script.
- Binding: Work is almost entirely disbound. Covers are plain red-brown leather over pasteboard. Spine is missing.
- Origin: Item is undated; probably copied in Northern or Western China in the later 18th or 19th century.
