- Notes:
- "Anthony Sharp" is a pseudonym found only in almanacs published by Bailey.
- The present almanac is evidently the work of David Rittenhouse, the author of Der Gantz neue verbesserte nord-americanische Calender for 1782, published at Lancaster. The calculations in the latter for the sun, moon, and eclipses, and most of the notes on its calendar pages, are duplicated in the Continental almanac, though with many additions.
