"Abraham Hutchins" is a pseudonym intended to exploit the popular reputation of the New York state calculator John Nathan Hutchins.
The actual calculator was Andrew Beers. The extensive astronomical and horological notes on the calendar pages, the wording and calculations of the eclipse predictions, and the ephemeris, are identical throughout with those in his Beers's almanack and ephemeris for 1792, published at Hartford. A majority of the other calculations are adjusted slightly to reflect the difference in meridian between Hartford and New York.
The Anatomy is the only illustration.
