Notes:
The calculator was Abraham Shoemaker. The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages, together with the eclipse predictions, are identical throughout with those in The New Jersey and Pennsylvania almanac for 1801 (Trenton), by Shoemaker.
Two states of gathering C noted. One has asterisks at end of first verse quotation on verso of C4. Second verse quotation has fifth line indented. Seventh line from top of page reads "a tempest." In the other, C4 verso is without the asterisks and the indentation. Seventh line reads "tempest." The names of the quoted authors are set in a smaller type.
Title vignette (portrait of Franklin). The Anatomy is the only other illustration.
