A funeral elegy upon the death of Winthrop's son, Governor John Winthrop of Connecticut (1606-1676) was printed by Foster in 1676 (Bristol B32), and this elegy may have been printed by Foster at the same time. Wegelin supplies the imprint [Cambridge, Samuel Green, 1665], presumably assuming that it appeared upon the death of the author.
