- Erroneously attributed to Fenelon by Evans, Hildeburn, and Parsons, presumably because of the presence of Fénelon's "Directions for a holy life. By the Arch-Bishop of Cambray" on p. 13-16.
- Entered twice by Evans, in each case ascribed to the Germantown press of Christopher Sower, but dated [1760] and [1766] respectively. Another edition assigned to Sower's press (Evans 7656) is dated [1756] by Evans. That edition may be distinguished from the present one by the absence of the ornamental bands above and below the caption title found in the present edition.
