- The cut of The Man of Signs (Reilly 1783) on p. [15] of the present edition was used by Bartholomew Green in various almanacs printed between 1695 and 1722. (A variant copy of the Green cut was used by Thomas Fleet, first appearing in Thomas Robie's almanac for 1716.)
- Parentheses substituted for square brackets in title transcription.
- Title vignette: portrait of Queen Anne.
- Page [16] advertises The husbandman's calling, by Richard Steele, "to be sold by Nicholas Buttolph ... and also by Eleazer Phillips." This was printed by Green for Buttolph in 1713.
