Notes:
Evans attributes the almanac to Benjamin West, as he does nearly all those published under the Bickerstaff pseudonym. However, the calculations in the calendar pages are identical with those in Osgood Carleton's An astronomical diary; or, An almanack for 1791 (Boston: S. Hall), and the eclipse notes are a condensed version of the predictions appearing there. There are frequent correspondences in the notes on the calendar pages despite the fact that Carleton's signed almanac features astronomical material in this column much more than does the present one.
Identical in content and typography, except for the title page, with Weatherwise's town and country almanack for 1791 (Boston: Printed for and sold by the booksellers).
Advertisements for books sold by Bumstead and David West, p. [24].
