Calculated by Benjamin Workman. With some omissions and additions, the calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are identical with those in Father Tammany's almanac for 1787 (Philadelphia: Young and M'Culloch), which states on p. [4] that Workman is its calculator. The present almanac omits a few notes, adds others, omits the monthly table of time equations, and adds one for the moon's age and a column for its southing. The eclipse predictions are duplicated in each almanac.
Workman advertised his almanac calculations for this year in the Freeman's journal, June 14, 1786.
Title vignette: state seal. The Anatomy is the only other illustration.
