Notes:
The wording and illustrations of the extensive eclipse predictions (p. [1-4]) and part of their calculations are identical with those in The North American calendar or The Rhode Island almanack for 1783, by Benjamin West (Providence). The calculations on the calendar pages for the moon's place and its rising and setting, together with a large proportion of those in the astronomical notes on the same pages, are also identical with those of West. West's almanac had probably been on sale long before Weston's, since it contains an advertisement by its publisher dated Nov. 11.
