- Except for January and the sun in February, the calculations duplicate those for the sun, moon, and tides in Nathaniel Low's Astronomical diary or almanack for 1790. Many of the weather predictions parallel Low's. The adjusted calculations early in the year suggest that Low supplied copy to the printer.
- Presumably Evans saw a wall-calendar almanac of this issue.
