Another, typographically identical issue (Evans 1589) has imprint reading "America. Printed: Sold by N. Boone ... Boston, 1713." Evans gives the printer of this issue as William Bradford of New York. The cut of the Anatomy (Reilly 1784) in both issues, however, is not that used in the almanacs issued by Bradford, but is identical with that found in the almanacs printed by Bartholomew Green at Boston through 1723. Travis' almanacs from 1716 on have Green's imprint, as does that for 1707.
Holyoke, in his 1713 almanac, criticizes the present Travis almanac for the same year and refers to its author as "he that is counted by the ignorant people to have such a mighty knack for figure slinging, witchery & conjuration."
The Anatomy is the only illustration.
