Attributed to Francisco Hernández Arana Xajilá and Francisco Díaz Gebuta Quej by the Abbé Brasseur de Bourbourg, who gave the document the title "Memorial de Tecpan Atitlan." It was attributed to various writers by D.J. Brinto who entitled it "The annals of the cakchiquels".
