Summary:
Two admission tickets to the Gallery of the U.S. Senate for the impeachment trial of President Andrew Johnson. Both bear the printed signature of Geo. T. Brown, Sergeant-at-Arms.
One ticket is dated 8 April 1868 and is blue in color. It is numbered 569. The stub has not been torn off, suggesting that this ticket was never used. It was found in Box 82 of the Library's Gordon A. Block Collection of materials relating to Abraham Lincoln.
The other ticket is dated 16 May 1868 and is yellow in color. This ticket is unnumbered. The stub of this ticket appears to have been cut off and reattached with brown tape.
