- Place of Publication:
- 1903-1915.
- Summary:
- Consists of two folders.
- First folder contains a check for $75.00 to William Butler Yeats from the United Security Life Insurance and Trust Co. of Pennsylvania; it is dated 10 December 1903 in Philadelphia and appears to be connected with something called the Contemporary Club. The treasurer's signature on the check is virtually illegible.
- Second folder contains a copy of Plates to accompany Reveries over childhood and youth (Churchtown, Dundrum [Ire.]: The Cuala Press, 1915). Apparently the text and plates were issued separately by the same publisher in 1915. There are three plates in all: two b&w plates taken from a drawing and a painting by Yeats' father, John Butler Yeats; and one color plate taken from a painting by Yeats' brother, Jack B. Yeats. The b&w plates reproduce a drawing of W. B.Yeats' mother done in 1867, and a watercolor self-portait of his father dated 1907. The color plate reproduces Jack B. Yeats' painting "Memory Harbour." Reveries over childhood and youth was later published as part of Autobiographies (London: Macmillan & Co., limited, 1926) and Autobiography of William Butler Yeats (New York: The Macmillan Co., 1938).
