- Summary:
- Undated ms. copy of one complete poem and a portion of another poem that appear in the collection Trauer- und Trost-Gedicht by Johann Schmiden. The complete poem is by Johannes Röber and begins, "Die Zeit, in der ein Mensch sein Leben pflegt zu führen ..."; this is preceded by the last three lines of a poem "Trost-Ode" of Johannes Langaut, which begins, "Wenn wir diese Welt besehen ..."
- The ms. sheet appears to be a fragment of a longer collection of copied poems, since it contains the numeral "5." in the upper-right hand corner and since it contains only the end of the Langaut poem.
- The Langaut poem and the Röber poem are printed on opposite sides of the same leaf in the 1664 edition of Trauer- und Trost-Gedicht; they are the last items in the book.
- Folder includes three leaves of xerox copies from the book: the title page and each of the two poems.
