Dark green paper-covered boards with a brighter green spine. Gilt paper label. sunk in panel on front cover, hand lettered in black. The "S" in Hampshire on the spine curves down over two lines so as to form the last letter in the first syllable and the first letter in the second syllable. Mottled brown endpapers.
